      Most schools in Central New York have the week off, so there are lots of special weekday events. Click at the bottom if you'd like to suggest more!
      ***Syracuse Winterfest

      lots of daily events, most free, around Onondaga County

      Sled at Onondaga Lake Park (free)

      Cross Country Ski or Snowshoe at Highland, Oneida Shores or Beaver Lake

      and there are specific events (check the website for fees or pre-registrations)

      Syracuse's Open Hand Theatre has a week of puppet workshops, with performance on Friday evening Register online or at 476-0466

      *Ithaca Loves Teachers

      Lots of events, with special deals and discounts for educators, but open to everyone in the Ithaca area. Click their website for a look and to pre-register

      *Healthy Kids Camp at Manlius Wellness Center

      Different classes each day for children and parent or caretaker. Runs Monday - Friday, can go one day or all. Website has detailed schedule, prices

      ***Rome: Art Park Programs for Kids for 5 - 12 year olds
      Rome Art & Community Center

      Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm
      Register for one day or the entire program

      *Cicero's SnowMania Contest

      For Cicero residents: build a snow creation (within the Town of Cicero) then email a picture with your contact information. Categories, rules at 699-5233 or Deadline for entries Feb. 23.

      *Art Classes for Kids
      Fulton CNY Arts Center, Office hours Tuesday - Friday 2-6pm, call 592-3373 for information or check their website to register for classes.
