$1,000 reward in Syracuse dog abuse case

Rescuers have named this found dog 'Patrick' because he was wearing a green belt. A reward's being offered if the abuser is arrested and convicted

A good samaritan found an extremely thin pit bull near Syracuse's Strathmore neighborhood on Friday morning, and now a $1,000 reward is being offered to arrest and convict the person or persons responsible.

The small, orange pit bull was found in the 200 block of Rider Avenue. with a green belt tied around his neck. The dog is extremely underweight, but was dry and warm, so it's believed he came from a nearby home. He has been named Patrick.
