18 year old killed, a second 18 year old shot several times in Syracuse

The 100 block of Alexander Ave, on Syracuse's South Side, blocked off on Sunday morning as evidence technicians work, after an early morning double shooting/homicide

Syracuse Police say two 18-year-olds who were walking on Alexander Avenue early this morning were shot by a man who approached them. One of the teens is dead, the other is at Upstate being treated for multiple gunshot wounds. He's in serious condition, though the injuries do not appear life-threatening.

Police have identified the 18-year-old who was killed as Malharis Pullins, of Syracuse, and the second victim as Carlito Alexander, of Syracuse.

Police say they have no suspects, and that the investigation is active and onging.

Alexander Avenue is on the city South Side, the 100 block is between Cortland and Martin Luther King Way.
