Oswego Police say no charges have been filed, after a trolley/bus pedestrian accident late Friday night.
It was reported at 11:30pm, on West Bridge Street at West Seneca (near the McDonald's). Police told us this morning that the driver may have been confused by one-way signage and was apparently making a U-turn when the two SUNY Oswego students were hit.
A 22- year old man, from Suffern, Rockland County, was helicoptered to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with internal injuries. He was in good condition at last check.
A 21-year old woman from Fairport (near Rochester) was also hit, and was treated for minor leg injuries.
Both students were part of the annual Bridge Street Run, an end of year pub crawl for SUNY Oswego students.
The bus company involved has not returned our call. Investigation into the incident continues.
