Three people are charged with stealing items from a number of Herkimer County homes.
Gregory Godlewski, 20, Tristan Hall, 19, and Shana Harrod, 19, are accused of committing 15 residential burglaries over the past two weeks, according to a press release from State Police.
A majority of the burglaries happened in Southern Herkimer County.
Money, collectors coins, electronics, and other personal items were stolen, according to police. In the last burglary committed, an elderly female was confronted inside her home and her pocketbook was stolen.
The subjects were identified by an employee at the Hannafords Supermarket in the Village of Herkimer, according to police. The employee noticed the suspects depositing coins into the Coinstar machine on more than one occasion and recorded their license plate number as they left the store.
All three are charged with 2nd degree burglary.
Godlewski and Hall were arraigned in the Town of Herkimer Court and remanded to the Herkimer County Jail on $50,000 cash / $100,000 bail bond.
Harrod was arraigned in the Town of German Flatts Court and remanded to the Herkimer County Jail on $50,000 cash / $100,000 bail bond.
