3 dead, 2 hospitalized after St. Lawrence Co. crash

Two cars collided in Oswegatchie, St. Lawrence County on Friday, 3 are dead, 2 hospitalized at University Hospital in Syracuse

Three people from the Watertown area are the victims in Friday morning's car crash in St. Lawrence County. In addition, one person is critical, a second also being treated at Upstate University Hospital. State Police say it happened on Route 37 in Oswegatchie, about 9:45 Friday morning.

The victims, all dead at the scene are Albert Robinson, 62 the driver, and his front seat passenger Georgia Robinson, 58, both of Watertown. Kristine Bell, 51, from Dexter was a rear seat passenger. Their cause of death is listed as 'accidental' by the St. Lawrence County Coroner.

The three who are dead were all in a 2008 Chevrolet, that apparently drifted into the path of an oncoming car.

A fourth person in that car is now critical at Upstate University Hospital.

The driver of the 2012 Dodge is also at Upstate University Hospital, at last report in stable condition.

State Police are still reconstructing the accident scene.
