      3 stabbed, one critically wounded after attack on Butternut Street



      Three people were stabbed on the 700 block of Butternut Street at about 9:20 Friday night, according to police.



      All three went to St. Josephâ??s for treatment, and they would not cooperate with police.



      The first victim was cut in the right hand; the second was stabbed twice in the back and is listed in stable condition; the third was stabbed in the back and was taken in for emergency surgery. He is expected to survive, according to police.



      Witnesses tell police the suspect is possibly a black man wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black winter hat and camouflage pants. He was last seen on Peters Street.



      Police do not have a motive for the attack at this time.
