3-year-old injured after falling from second-story window in Syracuse

Tue, 18 Jun 2013 16:12:48 GMT — A 3-year-old boy is in the hospital recovering from injuries after falling out of a second-story apartment window in Syracuse.Syracuse Police say it happened at 300 West Ostrander Avenue, just before 7:30 p.m. Monday.Police say it appears the toddler climbed onto a couch that was next to an open window. He then fell out of the window and into the yard.When emergency personnel arrived, the boy was conscious and breathing.Two adults were with him, one of which was his mother.The 3-year-old boy was listed in critical condition at Upstate Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.Police say there haven??t been any charges filed at this time. The investigation is continuing.
