Four people are arrested after a home invasion burglary in the Otsego County town of Butternuts.
State Police responded to 1562 County Route 18 just before 3pm Wednesday. Police say four people ran from the home and into the woods after forcibly taking property.
One person was reported to be armed with a handgun.
Officers from the New York State Police, Otsego County Sheriff's Office, Chenango County Sheriff's Office, Town of New Berlin Police, and the City of Norwich Police then responded to the area.
After a 9 hour search, the four suspects were found and arrested.
The suspects are 25-year-old Michael B. Mack of Utica, 24-year-old Shirley M. Lamphere of Utica, as well as two 17-year-olds, both of Utica.
Felony burglary charges are pending for all four suspects. They are scheduled to be arraigned at a later date.
