There's just four days remaining until the start of the New York State Fair and as we count down the days we're highlighting some of the most popular things to do at the Fair.

Yesterday we told you about the Dairy Cow Birthing Center where you can witness the miracle of birthing calves in person. Today, we're highlighting a part of the Fair kids and kids at heart always enjoy: the Midway.

Wade Shows is once again providing the attractions for this year's Fair; the State Fair's website has a list of dozens of rides anticipated to be at the Fair this year.

One of them is a first of its kind at the Fair - a water ride. The White Water Flume brings riders splashing down from as high as 40 feet, according to Wade Shows' website.

Another new attraction is the Broadway Skyliner, a brand-new chairlift that will carry riders 34 feet above the Fair across the Midway. The ride spans 1,400 feet and last about seven minutes.
