6-year-old hit by car earlier this month out of hospital, police looking for driver

The Syracuse Police Department is still investigating a hit and run crash that seriously hurt a 6-year-old girl, who is now out of the hospital.

It happened just before 7pm on June 15th on the 900 block of Burnet Ave. in Syracuse.

The girl was crossing the street and was hit by a white SUV that was heading west on Burnet Ave. The SUV kept driving.

Police say the SUV looks like a Saturn Vue with white New York Statue of Liberty license plates and was operated by a woman. It may have damage to the front grille or the driver's side headlight area.
