A frost advisory is in effect for parts of Northern New York
A frost advisory is in effect for:
Jefferson & Lewis counties for late Tuesday Night through early Wednesday.
These counties have the greatest chance to see patchy frost. The chance for frost is less throughout Onondaga county and around the Finger Lakes.
A frost advisory means that cold temperatures will reach the dew (frost) point and cause frost across parts or all of the counties listed above. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
