Aerial spraying for mosquitoes is postponed for today in the Toad Harbor, Big Bay Swamp area due to weather.
The spraying was already postponed this weekend due to bad weather.
The spraying will take place on Wednesday, September 3 between 6-9 pm, weather permitting.
â??Personal protection measures are still the most effective way to prevent mosquito-borne diseases and it is essential that people continue to follow these practices,â?? said Oswego County Public Health Director Jiancheng Huang.
Neighbors are encouraged to limit outdoor activity from dawn to dusk, when mosquitoes are most active, wear long pants and shirts, shoes and socks. They should also get rid of standing water, if possible.
