Alan Jackson and Gretchen Wilson to perform in CNY this summer

If you're a country music fan in Central New York, get ready for a rockin' summer. Alan Jackson and Gretchen Wilson's tours will make a stop in Vernon.

Two-time Grammy award winner Alan Jackson will take the stage at Turning Stone on September 8th.

Jackson is famous for hits including, "Chattahoochie," "Remember When," and "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning," a song about September 11th. He has sold almost 60 million albums across the world and has had more than 50 Top 10 hits on the radio waves.

Tickets for the late summer show range between $39 and $54, and go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. at the Turning Stone Resort Casino Event Center and online through Ticketmaster.

Jackson last sang at Turning Stone in 2007.

If you can't wait that long, everyone's favorite "Redneck Woman" will perform at nearby Vernon Downs in June. Gretchen Wilson, famous for hits "Here for the Party" and "All Jacked Up," will take the stage June 15.

All of the proceeds from Wilsonâ??s concert will benefit the Food Bank of Central New York.
