It happened around 5:30 a.m. Thursday on State Route 69 in the Town of Mexico.

Police say 29-year-old Casey Billings of Parish was driving southbound on Route 69 when he lost control, flying into a ditch and slamming into two utility pole guard wires and two trees. The car came into a yard at 4297 State Route 69.
