All arrivals and departures at Hancock Airport in Syracuse were delayed about 50 minutes Wednesday.
Between about 1 p.m. and 1:50 p.m., there was zero visibility due to the snowstorm hitting the area, so all flights were delayed.
Crews are keeping one of two runways open at the airport and are working to get all delayed planes in the air.
"We have two runways and when conditions get really, really bad we'll close one runway and focus on keeping our primary runway open, which is exactly what we've been doing all day," said Christina Callahan, the Syracuse Airport Commissioner.
