: The previous Wind Advisory in effect for Onondaga county and parts of central NY has been cancelled as the strongest winds are slowly subsiding and will continue to do so through tonight. As of this writing a Wind Advisory continues for far northern NY and the Adirondacks, but will likely be allowed to expire at 4:00pm today. As of this writing CNY is still experiencing wind gusts past 30 mph at times, and thus you will still want to have a firm grip on the wheel when driving into this evening.
LOOKING AHEAD: We see the first signs of a few lake effect rainshowers developing off the eastern end of Lake Ontario at this time, and we still expect this activity to change to wet snowshowers and flurrires and shift southward into CNY for later tonight and Tuesday.
