Amber Alert cancelled for Rochester girl who left blood-stained plea for help

Police have found a child who was believed to have been abducted from Rochester. Police earlier believed 16-year-old Cassidy Geffert was taken from 79 Talnuck Drive in Rochester just after 10 a.m. Monday.

She left a note for her parents indicating she was in danger. The note had blood on it and the victim's cell phone. The home was in disarray when police arrived with a knife on the floor and a .38 caliber handgun taken from the home.

Cassidy is a white female with brown hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds. She was last seen wearing silky pajama shorts.

Police were searching for a black 4-door 2006 SAAB with NY license plate number GMM9136. Greece Police believed the was headed to Ohio.
