Ithaca Police say they responded to a report that a person was not breathing in the area of the city known as "The Jungle," Wednesday evening just after 5:00 p.m. This area is in the 200 block of Cecil A. Malone Drive. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim, who was deceased.
The cause of death has not been determined and is pending an autopsy. The name of the victim is not being released pending notification of family. Officers have preliminarily determined that there does not appear to be foul play involved.
