The transformation of the Carrier Dome began Monday. 5,000 sheets of plywood were laid across the entire field followed by 250 truckloads of dirt being dumped to create this massive monster truck track.General seating tickets are $15 to $20 for adults, $10 for kids. Tickets are still available and can be bought at the Carrier Dome Box Office. The Syracuse Police Department is advising those attending the Monster Jam show on March 10 at the Carrier Dome to avoid parking near the Carrier Dome and expect traffic delays. Syracuse University parking lots near the Carrier Dome are for permit holders only. Police suggest those attending park at Syracuse University's Manley or Skytop parking facilities. The parking fee includes shuttle service to and from the Carrier Dome. There will also be no drop off or pick up on any of the streets surrounding the Carrier Dome. To avoid traffic delays on I-81 at the Harrison St. off ramp, police suggest that spectators coming from north of the City should use I-481 south.
