Armed robbery under investigation in Syracuse

The Syracuse Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened Tuesday night at Sakran's Plaza. According to police, two 23-year-old men say, around 9:15 p.m. four to five men, all with handguns, confronted them near the carwash on Geddes Street and stole their car keys and a cell phone.

The suspects then stole the victim's 2003 white Pontiac, which was last seen on Amy Street. Police later discovered that the victims were in the area buying drugs when they were robbed.
