Syracuse police have made an arrest in connection with the city's 13th homicide.
Police have charged 22-year-old Rudolfo Hinojosa-Soto with second degree murder in the shooting death of 27-year-old Curtis Parrish. It happened last Sunday on the 300 block of Putnam Avenue in Syracuse.
Police say the two knew each other and had a bad relationship.
"They had a bad drug transaction almost a year ago which caused them to be feuding with each other for almost a year," said Deputy Chief Joe Cecile, "They were brought together once again the day of the homicide, earlier that day for a drug transaction which also went sour. Later that evening, the suspect approached the victim on the 300 block of Putnam Avenue and shot and killed him."
Syracuse police are still asking anyone with information on the shooting to call them at 442-5222.
