Auburn Police identify woman in 'suspicious death' case

Auburn Police are investigating what they are calling a â??suspicious deathâ?? after a 25-year-old woman was found unresponsive at 14 Frances Street in the City of Auburn.

First responders tried to resuscitate Jessica N. Gentile, but she was pronounced dead at Auburn Community Hospital.

According to The Auburn Citizen, her death is being considered suspicious because of her young age.

Officials are awaiting results of a toxicology test.

Gentile graduated Auburn High School and SUNY Cortland, where she studied Communications, according to an obituary. She alsao studied at Cayuga Community College.

Auburn Police say they are continuing the investigation, which includes interviewing people who may be connected.
