Auburn Police looking for missing teenage girls
Auburn Police are looking for the publicâ??s help in finding two teenage girls who have not been seen since the weekend.
Police say on Saturday 16-year-old Javona S. Long and 16-year-old Cierria A. Sanders reportedly left Auburn for Syracuse. They were last seen at the Colonial Laundromat in the area of Wolf Street and 4th North Street around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday. Police say Long and Sanders were last seen entering a blue and white extended cab pickup truck.
Long is described as wearing a white knit top, brown pants, and gray and white boots. Police say she normally wears glasses.
Sanders is said to have been wearing a grayish colored short waist pea coat with blue jeans and black combat boots. She has long black hair extensions which reach to her buttocks, and has a large birthmark covering the majority of her upper left arm.
Police say the teen have not made contact their parents since midnight Sunday and calls have gone unanswered. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Auburn Police Department at 315-253-3231. Police say calls can be kept confidential.
This is not the first time Sanders has been reported missing. In 2011 she was reported missing for several days before being found safe.
