An Auburn woman is arrested after allegedly demanding money and threatening a front desk clerk at a Days Inn by saying her boyfriend was outside with a gun.
The clerk gave an undisclosed amount of money for fear of her safety.
Auburn Police officers responded to the hotel at 37 WIlliams Street at around 12:30am. They sent out a surveillance photo to the public and quickly made an arrest after several leads.
Police charged 28-year-old Jenna Albanese for felony robbery. They also charged her with identity theft and forgery after a separate investigation which found she forged a check.
