Baby Easton Friedel returned home from the Cincinnati Childrenâ??s Hospital on Sunday, where he underwent a bronchoscope, according to the familyâ??s Facebook page.

Baby Eastonâ??s cousin Amy posted, "Easton and his mommy and daddy are back home in NY safe and sound."

Baby Easton was taken to the EB Center at the Cincinnati Childrenâ??s Hospital on Wednesday via a private flight, provided completely by volunteers in the Patient Airlift Services network.

At Cincinnati Childrenâ??s Hospital, Baby Easton underwent a bronchoscope, a procedure where a small camera and light are fed into the lungs used to examine the lungs and take samples. According to a Facebook post, doctors are trying to figure out why Easton has low oxygen levels.

The family has to wait for cultures to come back from the procedure. Cousin Amy posted after Eastonâ??s procedure saying, "Easton is out of surgery. Danielle said reports of Tracheomalcia, Bronchomacia, Bronchitis, inflammation, mucus plugs, and bronchial compressions of the left lung. Have to wait for cultures to come back, they took washes of his lungs. He suspects an overall infection."

Baby Easton recently spend a few days in a local hospital for a bulging soft spot, atrophy on his brain, and a positive staph test before doing to Cincinnati Childrenâ??s Hospital.
