Baldwinsville house fire being ruled suspicious

A fire burned down an abandoned home on Lock Street in Baldwinsville on Sunday night at around 7 p.m. Investigators are now ruling the fire suspicious.

The smoke was so heavy, fire officials reported seeing it from about two miles away.

Investigators are considering the fire suspicious because they found the back door of the home open.

Baldwinsville Assistant Fire Chief Tom Perkins said the home has been abandoned for several years and is now a complete loss.
