A Baldwinsville woman was killed in a two car crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Route 20 and Warner Road in Darien, according to The Buffalo News.

Audrey Gleason, 55, and her daughter Kelly Gleason, 16, were flown to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. Audrey Gleason was pronounced dead at the hospital and her daughter was listed in critical condition. Dennis Gleason, 58, Audreyâ??s husband, was listed in stable condition.

According to The Buffalo News, a car stopped in traffic to make a turn but the driver, Gerald Kania, was distracted and veered to the side to avoid a crash. His car clipped the corner of an SUV, crossed into the other lane, and collided with the Gleasonâ??s vehicle. The driver of the clipped SUV, Darlene Clark was not injured.

Audrey Gleason worked for the Baldwinsville Central School District for three years. Most recently, she was a job coach in the special education department and as a bus driver.

Kelly Gleason is a junior at Baker High School and is a member of the crew team.

Superintendent of Baldwinsville Central School District , Jeanne Dangle, says you can't walk around campus today without someone talking about Audrey, describing her as an "upbeat, happy, positive, hard-working person. She touched a lot of lives."

Baker High School held a moment of silence for the family Monday morning during announcements. School leaders were at the bus garage Monday morning to speak with Gleason's co-workers.

Dangle says the district found out about the accident Sunday night.

The school district set up crisis teams at Baker High School, for staff and students, and at the bus garage.
