Mon, 15 Jul 2013 17:42:45 GMT — The return of algae blooms to Oneida Lake has prompted the Oswego County Health department to close the David Webb Memorial Park Bathing Beach.The beach in Constantia will remain will remain closed due to blue-green algae until the health department says it can reopen. The Oswego County Health Department recommends taking the following precautions: don't swim or wade or fish near blooms or scums; don't drink the water; keep children and animals away from any blooms or scums; and rinse with clean water if you are exposed. The beach was closed earlier this month for algae blooms and reopened last Wednesday. For more information, call the Oswego County Health Department at 315-349-3557.
