Good news for beachgoers as we head into the weekend.
The beach at David C. Webb Park in Constantia is re-opening after a blue-green algae bloom forced it to close on July 22.
â??The results of field tests conducted at the beach today were satisfactory,â?? said Oswego County Public Health Director Jiancheng Huang. â??These results, combined with the visual inspection done, show that the water is now safe for swimmers.â??
Oneida Shores, which was closed on Monday, is also re-opening as the blue-green algae has moved out, returning the water quality to acceptable levels.
