Beezie Madden riding again, wins Grand Prix in the Netherlands

Cazenovia equestrian Beezie Madden is recovered from her broken collarbone, and she's back winning at Grand Prix jumping.

Cazenovia Olympic equestrian is back at work, and she's started at the top, winning a Grand Prix in the Netherlands this weekend.

The Madden team includes her top horses Cortes, which she's won on at De Wolden (in the Northeast Netherlands) this weekend, along with Simon, Coral Reef via Volo, her London Olympics horse, and Breitling, the 'rising star' that she took the fall with this spring.

After a fall in May, the hope was that she'd be cleared to ride by the end of July so she can qualify for the Equestrian World Cup, which is in the first week of September. The strategy was to go to Europe early to prep, and then get the qualifying points at Hickstead in England, and at Dublin in Ireland.
