Boil water advisory issued for parts of Annsville

Several areas in Oneida County are under a boil water advisory.

It comes after parts of Annsville lost water service due to a transmission break on January 31. You need to boil your water if you live in the Amos Trailer Park, Collins Trailer Park, Leisure Village (Martin Court), Taberg Water District 75 (Matt and Sarah Drive) and people serviced on Lee Center Taberg Road.

The boil water notice will likely remain in effect until February 6.

Do not drink your water without boiling it. Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute and let it cool before using it or use bottled water.

Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teen, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice.

If you have any questions, contact the City of Oneida Water Department at (315) 363-1490 or the Oneida County Health Department at (315) 798-5064.
