Boil water advisory lifted for South Clinton Street, including Armory Square

Good news for neighbors and businesses in and around Armory Square. The boil water order for the South Clinton Street area between West Fayette Street and West Jefferson Street has been lifted, according to the Onondaga County Health Department.

Lab results confirmed that there are no coliform bacteria in the water, and it is safe to start drinking it.

The outage affected several area businesses, including The Syracuse Suds Factory, LaTaqurei, Al's Wine & Whiskey Lounge, Continental Room, Crepe & Gelato Blvd and Nick's Tomato Pie.

The boil water advisory has been in effect since Sunday due to a water main break.
