Bus driver at fault when two students were hit in Oswego, police say

The trolley bus that hit two students on West Bridge Street made an illegal left turn, which caused the incident, according to Oswego Police.

The investigation into the May 9 incident concluded that the driver was traveling westbound on West Seneca Street and made an illegal left turn into an unmarked one way turning spur while trying to get onto West Bridge Street.

The bus then hit two students who were partaking in the Bridge Street Run. They were in the crosswalk when they were hit. One student was treated for internal injuries, and the other was treated for minor injuries.

So far, there are no criminal charges pending.
