Tompkins County 911 was called at about 1:30 pm Monday saying a man had drowned at Ithaca Falls. The Ithaca Fire Department and Bangs Ambulance responded, along with Ithaca Police.

First responders found that bystanders had brought the man to shore and carried him to a trail entrance.
