Camillus man arrested for selling stolen property

Craig Wescott

A Camillus man is accused of stealing property from various Wal-Marts across New York and Pennsylvania, then selling his loot to a business in Auburn.

44-year-old Craig Wescott faces three counts of criminal possession of stolen property, and three counts of falsifying business records.

State police say he stole more than $4,000 worth of property, and sold it as if it were his own, and that he signed records indicating he owned the property and had a right to sell it, when he didn't.

Investigators say there were at least three cases where Wescott sold property to the Auburn business.

Right now, he is in the Cayuga County jail without bail.
