Rescuers were called to Syracuse's Clinton Square early Sunday morning, on reports that a car had gone into the fountain.
When they got there, the car was up over the curb, where Erie Boulevard dead ends into the west side of the square. Airbags had deployed and there was damage to the front of the vehicle, but the driver was out and walking around.
It's not the first time that vehicles have missed the Clinton Street turn, and some have actually gone into the water.
Have you had a close call here? Should it be better marked?
