Syracuse Police are investigating after a car crashed into a house in Syracuse.
According to police, around 12:50 a.m. Monday morning, a car crashed into a home at 1201 Westmoreland Avenue.
Police say Jahari Richardson, 27, of Syracuse, was behind the wheel and after some investigating determined that he was driving southbound on Westmoreland Avenue when he drove through the Broad Street intersection and into the front of the residence.
Richardson was arrested on several charges including felony driving while ability imparied by drugs and criminal possession of a controled substance.
Police say three people were on the upper floor of the house at the time of the crash, but they were not hurt.
Richardson is scheduled to appear in Syracuse City Criminal Court at a later date.
