A Chevy Trailblazer crashed into the porches of two homes on Valley Drive Monday night around 5:15.
Syracuse police say the car was traveling south when it veered off the left side of the road, hitting the front porch of the house at 359-361 Valley Drive. It then continued on and hit the front porch of 401-403 Valley Drive.
The porch of the second home collapsed onto the car and trapped its two occupants.
The Syracuse Fire Department extracted 46 year-old Danny Lewis and 42 year-old Deborah Patterson from the car. Both were taken to Upstate Hospital as a precautionary measure. Lewis was driving the car at the time of the crash.
No one at the first home was hurt when the car hit their front porch. The second home was vacant.
There are no charges being filed at this point.
