Casino developers meet with state regulators

Developers looking to build a casino in upstate New York are gathering in Albany for a meeting with state regulators. Today's conference is mandatory for anyone applying to build one of the four casinos authorized for the Catskills, the Albany-Saratoga area, or the Southern Tier-Finger Lakes region. The meeting is intended to answer questions from potential casino developers. It will be open to the public. Last week developers submitted casino license application fees of $1 million each for 22 different projects. Selections will be made this fall.
