Food Network celebrity and Cazenovia native Anne Burrell will be coming to the New York State Fair in August to show off her cooking skills.
Burrell grew up in Cazenovia and went to Canisius College before pursuing a culinary degree, a path that took her all over the world.
Burrell will take all those cooking skills to the Chevy Court stage on August 27 at 2 p.m.
Burrell is known for her spiky blonde hair and amped-up personality, and is the host of the Food Networkâ??s Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, Chef Wanted and Worst Cooks in America.
Burrell stopped by the Wegmans in DeWitt earlier this year to meet fans and sign copies of her cookbook, â??Own Your Kitchen.â??
Other Chevy Court performances for the State Fair later this year include John Kay and Steppenwolf, Bowzerâ??s Rock nâ?? Roll Show and Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes.
The New York State Fair runs from August 21- September 1 this year.
