An Oswego County father and son were arrested Thursday after police say the teenage son inappropriately touched a child, and the father tried to stop deputies from arresting him.
Deputies say Luca A. Susco, 18, is accused of touching the chest of a child victim while the victim was asleep. The incident allegedly happened in the Town of Palermo in December 2012.
Luca's father, 40-year-old Andrew J. Susco, is accused of "attempting to physically stop the lawful arrest" of his son. Andrew Susco allegedly pulled Luca away from deputies and blocked the exit of the residence.
Luca Susco and Andrew Susco both reside on County Route 45 in Central Square, where they were arrested about an hour apart Thursday evening.
Luca Susco was arrested Thursday and is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Andrew Susco was also arrested Thursday and is charged with obstructing governmental administration. Both were released on an appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in the Town of Palermo Court on Monday.
