City of Oneida asks motorists to avoid streets in flooded area, traffic slowing cleanup efforts

Oneida was flooded on June 29

The City of Oneida is asking that residents who are not from the flooded area to avoid the streets of the flooded area.

The City asks motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists to avoid streets in the flood cleanup area to allow cleanup crews and residents to work.

Traffic is slowing cleanup efforts and is a safety concern.

Some streets in the flooded area may be temporary closed while crews are working in that area.

The City says that trash or scrap picking is prohibited in the area.
