City of Syracuse kicks off Juneteenth celebration

Friday morningâ??s flag raising at city hall marked the beginning of the Juneteenth Festival in Syracuse.
Organizers say the celebration marks the end of slavery and shares African American history and culture with the Central New York community.
The celebration continues Saturday with a parade and festival in Clinton Square., which runs from 1pm to 10pm.
