The man who authorities say set fire to the house of a driver accused of killing a woman in a November crash was indicted Tuesday.
Joshua Brennan is facing charges of burglary and arson stemming from an investigation into the fire.
Police say Brennan burglarized and set fire to the home of Muhammad Baqir, the driver in the crash that killed Meagan Patterson on November 24th in Liverpool. Baqir later admitted to police that he used heroin earlier that day.
Baqir was charged with vehicular manslaughter, driving under the influence of drugs and aggravated unlicensed operation. Four others were injured in the crash: 35-year-old Lance Patterson, 10-year-old Olivia Patterson, 2-year-old Sophia Patterson and 14-year-old Justin Root. Witnesses say he was driving erratically as he traveled north on Oswego road before his vehicle crossed into the southbound lane.
