There will be lingering cloud cover over the area with some periods of filtered sunshine.
A system is coming in from the Midwest, but it is breaking up and the Central New York area is expected to see the weakest part of it. There may be some inconsequential snow showers on Friday evening.
We are watching a coastal storm that could produce some light snow in the area on Saturday evening.
The high is expected to be 36 with a low of 29.
