In addition to her new responsibilities, Coleman will also co-anchor the 5pm, 5:30pm and 6pm newscasts on WSTM-TV with CNY Central award-winning journalist Matt Mulcahy.

As News Content Manager, Coleman will work side by side with Vice President of News Rae Fulkerson and Managing Editors Matt Mulcahy and Michael Benny to oversee the day-to-day and long term direction of the news content of CNY Central.

She will work one-on-one with producers and reporters to ensure the CNY Central news team brings viewers the most compelling, interesting and engaging newscasts and digital content in Central New York.

"I have the privilege to work with the best news team in Central New York," says Coleman. "In addition to my anchoring responsibilities, I am particularly excited about my added role as News Content Manager, as it clearly serves to address the changing ways in which our viewers want and get their news. The Central New York community can expect the most comprehensive and interactive news on air and online from the team at CNY Central."

Coleman started her career with WSTM-TV as a newsroom intern while attending Syracuse University. Upon graduation, she accepted a position in Waco, TX, before returning to WSTM-TV in 2003 as a reporter. She became co-anchor of WSTQ-TVâ??s 10pm newscast soon after it launched in 2004 before moving to her most recent role as anchor of WSTM-TVâ??s Today in Central New York.

"I look forward to working side by side with Megan both on the air and in leading our CNY Central news operation," says Mulcahy. "She is sure to bring a fresh perspective to the rest of the news day that our viewers have already enjoyed during her time anchoring the news in the morning."
