CNY non-profit plans to go to Houston to help victims of Harvey
A local non-profit organization is heading to Houston to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
"Operation Northern Comfort" provides labor, donations, and support to people in our area who are in need.
Now they're taking their services on the road to help people affected by Harvey and the subsequent flooding in the Houston area.
About 100,000 homes were damaged during the hurricane and the majority of those homeowners do not have flood insurance.
Operation Northern Comfort says it will make its trip on October 21 through October 29. Anyone wishing to go with them to help can find more info here or call 315-559-9413.
