CNY Red Cross calling for volunteers after flooding

The American Red Cross of Central New York in Syracuse is looking for volunteers to help with flood relief efforts.

The Red Cross is providing food and shelter to people displaced in Herkimer, Oneida and Chenango counties.

The organization is looking for volunteers who can help feed, lift bulky items, load vehicles, and perform administrative duties. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

The Red Cross will be processing interested volunteers between 1-3pm on Sunday, June 30th at its offices, located at 344 W. Genesee Street in Syracuse.
