A prison worker in Oneida County is arrested for possessing synthetic drugs. That's according to State Police.
Police arrested 42-year-old Naomi Roberts of Remsen. They say Roberts works as a cook at Mid-State Correctional Facility in Marcy.
Police say they found she had about a pound of the synthetic drug known as "K2" and numerous strips of the controlled substance Suboxone, and that the drugs were to be delivered to an inmate behind bars in prison.
Roberts faces several charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance and attempted promoting of prison contraband.
She was arraigned in New York Mills court and was sent to the Oneida County jail on $5,000 bail.
